Language Institute – Istanbul University: 

One of the most important language schools in Turkish universities and one of the oldest institutions of the university, it was established in 1933 under the roof of the Faculty of Arts under the name “School of Foreign Languages” and in 1961 it became under the management of the university

In 1975, he moved to a special building in Sulaymaniyah and got the name of the Department of Foreign Languages. After that, with the increasing demand for more foreign languages ​​and Turkish as a foreign language, the Language Institute was established at Istanbul University, separated from the Department of Foreign Languages ​​to be able to accommodate the number of unaffiliated students. For Istanbul University and with the increasing demand for the institute, the Sulaymaniyah building has not accommodated more students and for this reason in 2010 another 9-story building was rented in the Al-Tubhani area, and therefore the Language Institute at Istanbul University occupies two buildings in two different places, both of which teach the Turkish language

Tomer Institute

One of the most important educational institutions for the Turkish language, the Tomer Institute has proven over the years its efficiency and competence in spreading the Turkish language

Tomer Institute was established in 1984 by Ankara University to teach foreign students the Turkish language, especially students who want to study in Turkey

Today, the institute includes nearly 20 languages, including English, German and French

The Tomer Institute has many branches in Turkish cities, including Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa and Trabzon, noting that the main branch of the Tomer Institute is in Ankara, and do not forget the branch located in the capital of South Korea, Seoul.

As for what is the study program in Turkey called the Tomer Curriculum, it is a special program at Ankara University that consists of 6 levels, and each level consists of two courses, the duration of one course is 80 hours.

In addition, the study system for language courses at the Tomer Institute includes two types:

  1. Intensive course: It is for one month over five days a week, its dates are from 9 am to 1 pm or from 2 pm to 6 pm.
  2. The regular session: It is for a period of two months over three days a week. Its dates are from 2 pm to 5 pm or from 6 pm to 9 pm.

It is worth noting that the Institute supports the file of foreign students at the Turkish Embassy who wish to obtain a study visa
